Seachtain na Gaeilge 2023

March 16, 2023

By Teacher

Seachtain na Gaeilge is promoted each year in our school leading up to Saint Patrick’s Day. We celebrate in so many ways such as using online resources and classroom games, singing songs and reciting Irish poetry. We also enjoy playing the tin whistle and performing some Irish dancing. We really concentrate on making our ceolchoirm enjoyable for everyone by working on our class level performances for weeks leading up to Seachtain na Gaeilge. Every year we invite parents/guardians and grandparents to come celebrate with us in our school hall to be part of our ceolchoirm / Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations from 9am – 12:30pm. It’s always a wonderful occasion.

Please take a look at our photos exhibiting our Seachtain na Gaeilge ceolchoirm celebrations.
